Introduction to Aarohan

‘Aarohan’, the Annual Amrita Science Fest is an Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru, initiative to foster a bond between a university and secondary and senior secondary schools. Amrita has successfully hosted Aarohan for ten consecutive years and the eleventh edition is scheduled on 17th and 18th January 2025. The two-day science fest is organized for students from grades VIII to XII. Each event is designed to bring out the technical knowledge and creativity of the participants. Aarohan not only opens its doors to school students to explore the engineering world through various competitions but also gives them a glimpse of the ever-evolving outside world of technology and research.

Regarding the Data Science Bootcamp

Dive into the exciting world of data science with our engaging boot camp, a collaborative initiative by the National Student Data Corps (NSDC) and ACM-W of Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru. Designed for students from grades 8 to 12, this boot camp aims to share knowledge and spark curiosity by introducing the fundamentals of data visualization, preprocessing techniques, and building a basic classification model. With a hands-on approach and simplified concepts, our mission is to empower young minds to explore the limitless possibilities of data science and technology, fostering creativity and innovation in the little world around us. Join us to embark on this fun-filled journey of learning and discovery!
